The Invisible Universe

Invisibility is the state of an object that cannot be seen. An object in this state is said to be invisible (literally, 'not visible'). The term is often used in fantasy/science fiction, where objects cannot be seen by magical or technological means; however, its effects can also be demonstrated in the real world, particularly in physics and perceptual psychology classes. Since objects can be seen by light in the visible spectrum from a source reflecting off their surfaces and hitting the viewer's eye, the most natural form of invisibility (whether real or fictional) is an object that neither reflects nor absorbs light (that is, it allows light to pass through it). This is known as transparency, and is seen in many naturally occurring materials (although no naturally occurring material is 100% transparent). Invisibility perception depends on several optical and visual factors. For example, invisibility depends on the eyes of the observer and/or the instruments used. Thus an object can be classified as 'invisible to' a person, animal, instrument, etc.

  1. If the human experience is part of the “light matter”, which is described in this way as it is that which humans can perceive through sensory organs. And if this light matter represents such a minuscule portion of whole where dark matter, dark energy account for the majority and “dark” is that which can not be perceived. Why do we yearn to comprehend that which is apparently commonplace, when we have the rare opportunity to truly experience the light matter with the anatomy unique to our humanness?
I propose we as a spirit of the whole made a choice to become an individual- a human in this case - in order that we might delight in the richness of this reality with our 5 senses. It seems for many if not most, have forgotten the mission, and have been drawn back to that which is familiar and secure - pure energy. The more we delve into and consume ourselves with remembering our original identity, the more we are squandering this rare gift of being individual- being human.

    1. I think we have more than 5 senses and that the brain is a special sensory organ.
